Rainbow Lawn Pty Ltd ("RBL", "we", "us") operates the Rainbow Lawn & Gardening mobile application. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: phone number (for OTP verification), display name, profile photo, and suburb.
• Worker verification data: selfie photo and government-issued ID (processed for identity verification only).
• Job data: job descriptions, photos, bids, messages exchanged between users, and completion status.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers, bank details, or CVVs.
• Device data: device type, OS version, and push notification tokens (for delivery of job notifications).
• Location: approximate suburb-level location for matching workers to nearby jobs. We do not track GPS continuously.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account
• To match customers with nearby workers
• To process payments via Stripe
• To send push notifications about job updates
• To verify worker identity and maintain platform trust
• To mediate disputes between users

3. Who we share with

• Stripe: payment processing (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified)
• Firebase / Google Cloud: hosting, database, authentication, push notifications
• Other users: your public profile name, photo, rating, and reviews are visible to other users when you bid on or post jobs

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share data with advertisers.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time through the app (Settings > Delete Account) or by emailing us. Upon deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial transaction records for tax purposes).

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Payment data never touches our servers. Firebase Security Rules restrict data access to authorised users only.

6. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us at privacy@rainbowlawn.com.au.

7. Children

RBL is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance.
